The sansaro art box is an art and culture-promoting non-profit exhibition concept by SUSHIYA, which runs the Japanese restaurant sansaro in the Amalienpassage. It offers artists the opportunity to present their work in a public space.

The particular challenge with the art box is the shape of the showcases.
These complex forms must be filled with coherent and well thought-out concepts for presenting the artistic works - a fundamental and important challenge.
The presentation must be adapted to the "solitary nature" of the showcases. The artist should try to play with the forms of the box through the installation of his works, to incorporate them or include them in the works.
